Cycle Bus and Cycle Trailer

The Cycle Bus operates between Inverness & Durness Smoo Cave Via Ullapool. Ledmore Junction, Lochinver, Scourie, Kinlochbervie & Durness. See Durness Service for times and dates.

The covered trailer can carry 11 bikes and a Tandem. If necessary an additional 2 bikes can be carried in the bus. The bikes are secured in the trailer individually and locked in by a personal key that is held by the traveller until the end of their journey.

Passengers can stop the bus at any safe location. This gives access to many roads & tracks at the beginning of a trip or at the end.

Service runs: Monday to Saturday : 28th April 2008 to 27th Sept 2008.

Sunday's: 6th July to 31st Aug 2008.

The Cycle trailer and bus are available for private hires. The bus and trailer can carry up to 15 bikes and is available for any distance - eg. John O Groats to Edinburgh or Ullapool - Glasgow.

Smaller groups can be transported in our 16 seat minibus which has removable seats.
